Hmph. The more I read from the Mirror and it's contributors, the more bias I see it is becoming. Anybody in favor of Germany and her ideals is frowned upon. Cake and I see Germany's cause as a noble and daring way for a country to gain retribution after the Allies tore it apart. People see the Allies as these heros, these perfect upholders of peace. They did not uphold any sort of "peace" or "freedom" when they humiliated the German people by dividing Germany into pieces. They did not spare Germany any pride when they told the Germans to disarm completely after the Great War ended. This is retribution. This is revenge against the Western democracy that sees so fit as to constantly keep poking its long nose where it does not belong. The Soviets prevented Germany from going into Stalingrad; at what cost? They fought and won back their OWN CITY IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY! What does this prove? Nothing. This just proves that Germany's boarders are so far reaching that even Mother Russia is strained to keep them back. There is no glory in what the Soviets are doing. They are fighting for their own land! The Germans are fighting for what rightfully belongs to them and what was so wrongfully taken from them by these "heroes" known as the Allies.
I am quite sure that if America were divided into pieces and humiliated on the global scale, it would seek revenge too. It paints this picture of model society and of model government and acts like its the biggest and best thing. I see no nobility in the Americans or the Allies actions. Bullying and dividing smaller, newer, countries such as Germany and Austria and Italy, countries who just barely established themselves; the Allies see fit to reap the benefits of them for themselves hiding behind some false diplomatic wall they called "The treaty of Versailles" . Another point as well; the Americans seek revenge for what happened at Pearl Harbor and the world is okay with that. The Germans seek revenge for what the Allies did to their country and then make it out to be a horrible crime. Am I the only one seeing a picture that is painted only for the Allies' purposes? In any event, the Germans will prevail in Russia. I give the Soviets two weeks before they start appealing for an armistice.
